Appearance of the plant:

The Chamaerops Humilis, also known as the European dwarf palm, has fan-shaped, dark green leaves that create a compact, bushy shrub. At a height of approximately 170 cm, the plant forms a robust, dense shrub with multiple trunks and sturdy, palmate leaves, giving it a Mediterranean and exotic appearance. In some cases, the plant can produce small, yellow flowers.

Location:

The Chamaerops Humilis grows best in a sunny to partially shaded spot, both indoors and outdoors. Outdoors, it's ideal for gardens or patios, as it's winter-hardy down to about -10°C. Indoors, it needs a bright spot, such as a south- or west-facing window, to thrive.

Water requirement:

Water the Chamaerops Humilis moderately, ensuring the potting soil is well-draining. Allow the topsoil to dry between waterings to prevent overwatering. This plant is relatively drought-tolerant and requires less water in winter.
